Turriff and District Cats Protection started in January 2001 following the geographical division of the Inverurie branch's area.  We are a local branch of a national organisation.

Cats Protection was formed by a group of concerned cat owners in 1927. In the 81 years since many thousands of volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure the welfare of cats. Cats Protection helps more than 140 000 cats and kittens every year. Our rehoming and neutering programmes together with our work in reuniting lost cats with their owners ensure that those 140 000 cats are given the chance of a better life.

UPDATE ON TOMMY1

Unfortunately the plate in Tommy's leg broke last weekend so on the advice of his surgeon and our local vet it was decided to amputate Tommy's leg to hopefully give him a reasonable standard of life.  We are all disappointed with the outcome but hopefully Tommy will make a good recovery and we find him the perfect home.  Many thanks to all who donated money to help with Tommy's vet bill.   It was very much appreciated.

OscarCan you give Oscar a home?

Oscar hasnt had the best start in life, found wandering around a town quite battle scarred, he had been fending for himself for some time and not having been neutered he had been in a few fights.
Read more about Oscar and more cats looking for new homes.
